On 3 October 2006, Broadbent and the Portuguese Ambassador hosted an event at the Ambassador's residence in honour of Brick's exhibition, The size of what I see, based on the writings of the Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa. Brick's series of prints were displayed alongside their corresponding poems and speeches were given by academic Mariana de Castro of Kings College, London as well as by Brick himself, reflecting on Brick's work and its connection to the writings of Pessoa.
