Alf Löhr attended the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf from 1979 - 83 where he received an MFA and then the Royal College of Art, London from 1985 - 88 where he received a PhD. He recently spent 2 years in Australia where he did a residency at Melbourne University but has returned to London where he lives and works.
