Ian McKeever
About the artist...
McKeever was born in Withernsea, Yorkshire, in 1946. He moved to
London in 1965 to Study English Literature, and self-taught, he
began to paint in 1969.
His work can be found in many of the world's leading galleries and
collections: The British Museum, The Government Art Collection,
and The Tate Gallery in London; The Morat-Institut in Freiburg;
The National Gallery of South Africa; the Metropolitan Museum of
Art in New York; The Yale Center for British Art in Connecticut;
amongst others.
McKeever lives and works in Dorset.
